Magnum Trailer & Equipment, an Abbotsford based manufacturer and service company of commercial transport trailers is seeking to fill the newly created position of Payroll Clerk. Under the general direction of the Controller, the Payroll Clerk will assume responsibility for all aspects of the payroll function.
The successful candidate will have 3 to 5 years of payroll/accounting experience, be an organized self-starter and an excellent communicator with a great attitude. You have exceptional attention to detail and accuracy and are a quick learner that enjoys multitasking. Other qualifications include, payroll processing using ADP, intermediate knowledge of MS Excel and experience with Visual ERP is a definite asset.
SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Processing the bi-weekly payroll for approximately
150 employees using ADP
· Review daily time cards to ensure accuracy and ensure that proper approval is obtained from the appropriate manager or supervisor
· Reconciliation of banked hours
· Maintaining employee records
· Preparation of final pay and ROE paperwork
· General ledger and payroll report reconciliations
· Employee Benefit reconciliation and administration
· Maintain employee anniversary and birthday database
· Workers Compensation claims submission, follow-up and review. Disputing questionable claims as required.
· Payroll reporting as required
· Establish, maintain and foster positive and harmonious working relationships with internal and external parties.
· Perform other general payroll or accounting duties as assigned by the Accountant and Controller.

Position Profile
The IT Support Specialist is the primary point of contact for customers of the IT Service Team including corporate, contact center, and store users. This is a key role within the IT Service Team, which is committed to providing exceptional IT services and support to Panagos technology users.
Responsibilities
Problem/Request Management, Technical Support, and Initiatives
* Provide first line technical and deskside user support for all software, hardware, network, and telecommunications problems
* Log, prioritize and track service requests * Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software or connectivity problems, escalate problems/tasks when appropriate to internal IT senior staff or third party vendors in accordance with established procedures
* Manage all problems to resolution, communicate resolution status to users and stakeholders and document solutions to problems
* Respond to move, add, change requests including physically moving technology, running cabling, working on and below counters and desks, and transporting equipment between sites
* Receive and process new technology requests from users including new purchase requests
* Participate in project initiatives including new technology rollouts and upgrades
* Configure, upgrade, setup, and install computer hardware, software, and other equipment such as Cisco routers, switches, Avaya VoIP systems, UPS, ADSL/Cable modems, and Ethernet cabling
IT Administration
* Perform network user account, email account, files/folder administration
* Maintain and update desktop software and install approved hot fixes and patches
* Monitor and maintain clean (white glove clean) and well organized IT environments including workspaces, staging areas, and data centre
* Provide individual and/or group instruction and training to users on computer technologies
* Perform evaluation of hardware and software prior to acquisition to ensure compatibility with existing systems. Prepare requirements specifications, prepare request for proposals/quotations and evaluate proposals. Prepare purchase requisition and liaise with vendors.
